- 2 yogurt cups of sugar
- 4 yogurt cups of flour
- 1 yogurt cup of vegetable oil
- 1 yogurt cup of fresh berries
Preparation:

Lemon ginger liqueur
One of my friends made a really tasty liqueur last year and I decided to follow her recipe and prepare one myself. Lets see if I can make it right :)
Ingredients:
80 g fresh ginger
2 lemons
200 g sugar
200 ml water
400 ml alcohol (I used aguardiente)
Preparation:
- Peel the ginger and cut it in thin slices.
- Wash, dry and peel the lemons. The peels should be free of white.
- Squeeze the lemons. Bring 100 ml of lemon juice, water, ginger, lemon peels and sugar to boil. Let it simmer for 10 minutes and cool down after.
- Add the alcohol and pour the mix into a big jar. Seal the jar and let the liqueur rest for 2 weeks at a dry, dark place.
- Filter the liqueur and taste it. If it is too spicy for you, adjust with sugar water to suit your taste.
- Bottle it.

Huge Solar Storm Produces Spectacular Northern Lights
The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are one of the most exciting and amazing phenomenon in nature, at least for me. I really enjoy hearing things about it (like the following news) and someday I will watch it live, hopefully.
Members of the Slooh expedition team have been busy bees this week, setting off to capture a live feed of the Northern Lights on Tuesday and also the total solar eclipse tomorrow from the Faroe Islands. Of course, we’re very grateful to them for bringing us some jaw-dropping footage, and we can’t wait for the big event tomorrow. But in the meantime, if you didn’t manage to catch a glimpse of the awesome live video of the Icelandic aurora, here are some highlights that Slooh has kindly put together:
As you can see, there was an awful lot of activity going on in the sky, which was thanks to an intense geomagnetic storm.

Bunnies
Wild Bunnies on the Snow!
It is still cold outside but the wild life started coming back to the city.
Yesterday on my way back home I saw these little wild bunnies and I could not resist taking some photos :)

Slurpee Waves Massachusetts
This has been a really snowy Winter and the New England's record cold created the perfect conditions for waves of slush, offering an unusual opportunity to ski on the beach.
Here are some photos of the events:
